Your "Lashlock" application
All “LASH-LOCKS” are produced of chromium hot
worked Tool Steel on Swiss machinery and are held to very tight tolerances.
This insures consistency and eliminates the need to keep the locks in
matched pairs.
Each lock is cut in half by our AGIE EDM wire machine. The scroll pattern
across the top is unique to each part number. This eliminates the
possibility of mismatching locks during assembly on cylinder heads equipped
with two stem sizes or bead types.
The
10° “LASH-LOCK” provides an additional increase of .100” to the installed
height when compared to a standard valve lock of the same configuration. The
installed height of the SUPER 7 “LASH-LOCK” remains the same with the
exception of the .290 tip length lock, which will increase the height .040”.
The “LASH-LOCK” is a very precise component and must be used in conjunction
with the correct tip length valve. We provide an instruction sheet with each
set of locks which explains the proper installation, tolerances, and if
necessary the modifications necessary to insure trouble free service.
